Ravi Teja confirms to act in telugu version Special 26

Telugu Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is all set to play the role of actor Akshay Kumar in the Telugu remake of Special chabbis.

Confirming the news, Raviteja, who is at the moment shooting for the part 2 to the Telugu version of Kick which is done by Surender reddy who is known for his super energetic hero story and screenplays says, “The Telugu-Tamil producer Thyagarajan, who is actor Prashanth’s father, has bought the South Indian rights for 2 most notable hit Hindi films – Vikas Behl’s Queen and Neeraj Pandey’s Special chabbbis. He wants me to play Akshay Kumar’s role in the Telugu version of Special Chabbis.”

As per Raviteja’s words he feels a special bonding with Akshay Kumar.

 

He says Akshay and I even look similar physically. This is not true with Salman Khan whom people call sallu bhai who did the remake of my film Kick. Salman Khan and I are completely different actors. But Akshay and I are very similar. When he did Rowdy Rathore my Vikramarkudu remake he was gracious enough to say he couldn’t do the things that I did in the original. Hopefully I’ll try to do at least some of the things that Akshay Kumar did in Special 26.”

According to Raviteja’s words, the remake will be different from the original Special Chabbis which is based on real incident.

More Details of Ravi Teja to Appear in Special 26 Remake

“Special 26 was a raw and real film depicting some real incidents in cinematic style. It is really very different from what Akshay Kumar usually does. I can’t be different. My fans would never accept me. Audiences like me when I do action and comedy. I am a jovial person from childhood and so I remain and i love doing comedy scenes. I like to laugh a lot through my work. And that attitude definitely reflects in my roles.”

Special 26 in Telugu would take some time to take off.

“I’ve to complete Kick 2. Then I start another film entitled Bengal Tiger. Only after that will I be able to do Special 26,” he said.
