National Entrance Screening Test(NEST)-2015 Notification:

National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar, University of Mumbai- Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai have conjointly invited applications for the National Entrance Screening Test (NSET). NSET notification has released for 2015. The test will be conducted around 52 cities across India.

Eligibility & Qualification for NEST-2015 Test :

1. Candidates in General and OBC category should be born on or after July 15, 1995. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Disabled candidates.
2. Class XII qualifying examination should be passed in either 2013 or 2014. Candidates appearing in 2015 are also eligible. (Where only Letter Grade is given by the Board, a certificate from the board specifying equivalent percentage marks will be required. In the absence of such a certificate the decision of the respective Admission Committees will be final.)
3. At least 60% marks in aggregate (or Equivalent grade) in Class XII (or equivalent) examination from any recognized Board in India. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) Candidates and for persons with Persons with Disability (PD), the minimum requirement is 55%.

How to Apply for NEST-2015 Test:

Application procedure is to done as per the instruction given in the application portal through www.nestexam.in  both offline and online procedures of application are available.

Important Dates for NEST-2015 Test:

1. Registration Opens on January 5^th 2015 (10:00 am)
2. Last date for receiving requested for online Application form (Postal): February 19^th2015.
3. Last date for receipt of completed offline application form is March 07^th 2015.
4. Online application closes is March 07^th 2015 (Midnight)
5. Dispatch of offline admit cards starts from April 15^th 2015
6. Download of online admit cards starts from April 15^th 2015
7. Date of examination from May 30^th 2015 –  Timings: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm

8. Announcement of results on NEST website is June 19^th 2015.
