Indian Government Blocks 32 Websites:

The Government was Blocks totally 32 websites which include Daily motion and more sites which is having searches in the market.  This al sites have issued block by Department of Telecommunications. The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) reported this action under section 69A of the Information Technology (IT) act, 2000 and the IT act rules, 2009.

This rule says that “Power to issue directions for blocking for public access of any information through any computer resource”. Based on this rule the DOT blocked 32 websites.

There are many websites like Daily motion which is almost alternate for You Tube in the world and also even Vimeo is also popular for video sharing. Then there are many sites which are used to access like blog spots are Weebly and there are copy paste sites and many other concepts and there are sites which provide about software and coding. This are claimed as following their own wish which is indirectly helping to carry illegitimate information regarding Terrorism.

IT cell National Head Arvind Gupta Said “The websites that have been blocked were based on an advisory by Anti-Terrorism Squad, and were carrying Anti India content from ISIS. The sites that removed objectionable content and/or co-operated with the on-going investigations, are being unblocked” on Twitter.

Arvind Gupa also said that some sites have unblocked and also the other websites will get access only if they obey with the Anti-Terrorism Squad Injunction.
