GPSC Goa Public Service Commission released notification on hiring various posts. There are vacancies in different departments consists of 47 posts. The post requirement, and other details are shown below.

Qualifications: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate

qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also

fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

2. Physicist in Radiology Department – 01 postQualifications: (i) Master’s degree in Physics/Nuclear Physics from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Diploma in Radiological Physics OR 2years practical training and/or experience in X-Ray and Electronic equipment in X-Ray Department or Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani and Knowledge of Marathi.
3. Assistant Pharmaceutical Chemist  – 01 postQualifications: (i) Degree in Pharmacy; (ii) Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (Central Act 8 of 1948); (iii) 3 years experience, -(a) in a Hospital Pharmacy/Government Medical Store in planning the requirements of drugs/medicines, monitoring the distribution/consumption of drugs manufacturing stock solutions and galenical preparations.Or

(a) in a pharmaceutical industry engaged in the manufacturing and testing of drugs.

Or

(a) in a recognized testing laboratory under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (Central Act 23 of 1940), engaged in the testing of drugs.

Or

(a) in the Office of the Drugs Controller engaged in dealing with problems connected with standards of drugs.

(iv) Knowledge of Konkani and Knowledge of Marathi.

4. Senior Physician – 01 postQualifications: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiatequalifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the ThirdSchedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) PostGraduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned. (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality

concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani and Knowledge of Marathi.

Junior Physician  – 3 postsQualifications: (I) A recognised Medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule or part-ii of the third schedule ( other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in part-ii of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (II)Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (III)  In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. Iv) Knowledge of konkani and Marathi.
6. Lecturers:(i) Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics  – 01 post(ii) Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry     – 01 postQualifications: (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification inDentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani and Marathi. (v) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (vi) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior

Resident/ Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution.

7. Senior Surgeon under E. S. I. Scheme  – 01 postQualifications: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiatequalifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the Third Schedule should alsofulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree in specialityconcerned. (iii) 3 years work in a responsible position concerned with their speciality after post-graduation Degree. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani and Marathi.
8. Insurance Medical Officer (ESI) – 01 postQualifications: (i) A Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiatequalification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfillthe conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or degree of Goa Medical School (Medico Cirurgiao). (ii)Completion of compulsory rotatory internship. (iii) At least 3 years experience in the Administration of Medical Care. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

(v) Experience in the general Medicine Practice. (vi) Knowledge of Marathi

9. Assistant Professors:(i) Commerce (Management) – 1 post(ii) Commerce (Accounting)    – 2 posts(iii) English                                   -1 post(iv) Geography                            -1 post

(v) Maths                                     -1 post

Qualifications: (i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an

Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall

remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor. Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been

awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree),

Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of

Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

(iv) Ph.D. or M.Phil in the relevant subject. (v) Knowledge of Marathi.

10. Veterinary Officer  – 14 postsQualifications: (i) Recognised Veterinary qualification included in the First or Second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act52 of 1984) and registered with a Goa State Veterinary Council. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.  (iii) Experience in Cattle Development or Poultry Development or running of a Veterinary Dispensary. (iv) Knowledge of Marathi.
11. Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar  – 01 postQualifications: (i) Degree in Law of a recognized University in India or any other equivalent qualification thereof. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani and Marathi.
12. Director in Forensic Science Laboratory – 01 postQualifications: (i) Master’s Degree in Science with at least first class from a recognized University. (ii) Should possess at least 10 years practicalexperience in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.Desirable: (iv) Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognized University. (v) Should be Computer literate. (vi) Knowledge of Marathi.
13. Assistant Director in Forensic Science Laboratory – 3 postsQualifications: (i) Master’s Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University. (ii) Should possess at least 8 years practicalexperience in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.  (iv) Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognized University. (v) Should be Computer literate. (vi) Knowledge of Marathi.
14. Scientific Officer in Forensic Science Laboratory- 05 postsQualifications: (i) Master’s Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University. (ii) Should possess at least 5 years practicalexperience in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.  (iv) Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognized University. (v) Should be Computer literate. (vi) Knowledge of Marathi.
15. Scientific Assistant cum Photographer in Forensic Science Laboratory – 2 postsQualifications: (i) Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University. (ii) Diploma in Photography or Certificate Course inAdvanced Photography from a recognized Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.(iv) Should be Computer literate. (v) Knowledge of Marathi.
16. Assistant Public Prosecutor  – 03 postsQualifications: (i) A degree in Law from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification. (ii) Must have practiced as an Advocate for 2 years.(iii) Knowledge of Konkani and Marathi
