Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur (JNTU Anantapur) is a state college in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Established in 1946, it has since 1972 been a constituent school of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, as set by The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972.

 

In 2008 it had gotten self-governing status by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008.It is Education and Research type of Institution.The Motto of this university is ‘excellence in action is yoga”.The vice-chancellor of this university is Prof.k.Lal Kishore.The campus occupies nearly 200 acres with peaceful environment.
